It’s not every day that 2 gay male penguins are given an egg to incubate and care for. After building a nest for the past 6 year, penguin couple Inca and Rayas are getting their chance. Yolanda Martin, who cares for the pair at the Faunia Park in Madrid said: “We wanted them to have something to stay together for – so we got an egg. Otherwise they might have become depressed.”
This is certainly some great gay penguin news, especially in light of the recent controversial separation of gay penguin couple Pedro and Buddy at our own Toronto Zoo.
