“Cloud City,”currently at the Met, is a large-scale series of interconnected modules constructed from transparent and reflective materials by artist Tomás Saraceno. Inhabiting the roof garden visitors enter and walk through the structures, which are grouped in a nonlinear configuration. Saraceno is known for his a practice of creating habitable networks based upon complex geometries and interconnectivity that merge art, architecture, and science.
