Artist Heather Mattoon dignifies cats on this Catual Friday by painting them in clothes. Her aptly named site, Cats in Clothes offers a wide selection of fine art giclee prints with brief bio descriptions for each cat.
Mattoon will even custom paint your cat in clothes if you’re so inclined.
We give this 2 paws up.
‘We were worried about applying the powder, but they were so vain they loved it’
14 years later people are still talking about Tim Walker‘s pastel cats shot. Just like many people celebrating Pride this weekend, these kitties loved being pampered and looking pretty. I would stand in the heat in a crowd of a million people to watch these kitties go by on a float (only if they were in their own safe climate controlled quiet space of course).
Remember this weekend to stay hydrated, wear sunscreen, have fun and find a bush to hide under with some friends if you need a break.
Happy Pride everyone!
Amidst all the queens and unicorns at Thunder Bay Pride last weekend, our favourite Promotions Coordinator, Kaleb Robertson, found some time to get ca(t)sual with this crafty “hattidue” cat flag.
An extra meow-out also goes to Kaleb for his fine silken leopard robe. You’ve really put the ca(t)sual into hattitude.
CAT + CASUAL + FRIDAY = CA(T)STUAL FRIDAYS
3 things we love at the Gladstone: cats, being casual, and Friday’s. To properly pay homage to this purrfect trifecta, we have decided to embark upon Ca(t)sual Fridays.
It’s gonna be even better than finding a missing mouse-shaped catnip sachet under the couch so get your claws out and sink in to some Ca(t)sual Fridays right meow.
Is this rainy day making you feel extra meousy (read: cat-lousy)? Everyone knows cat’s can’t stand water. So, to help keep your paws out of the puddles, here’s a badass dose of Ca(t)sual/pritate/overall rebel cat.
Now, let’s all go home and curl up with a bowl of warm milk.
