As May winds down, here at the Gladstone we are already getting excited for our fave month of all… Pride (aka June, aka Pride at the Gaystone). It’s that special time of year when all the glitter and unicorns we’ve been saving up since last Pride are finally able to explode from our storage closet and onto the world.
Even though it’s not officially Pride month yet, here’s a little gift from a hilarious NYC Gays gif site that just happened upon our Pride-ar.

So, it only seems natural to start a Catual Friday update. To kick things off, here’s Kaleb Robertson channeling his Catualness with this not-so-shy tuxedo cat.
Feline Catual yet? Please Note: cat puns are definitely going to be a reapurring theme in these posts, so pour yourself a warm bowl of milk and get ready for the amazingness of Catual Friday’s.
Do·cent (noun) a person who is a knowledgeable guide, especially one who conducts visitors through a museum and delivers a commentary on the exhibitions.
You don’t have to get wild on this performance tour, but your docent will. Starting May 12 from 1-2pm and continuing every Saturday until September, an eclectic team of wild docents (read: drag queens, thespians and other outspoken characters) will be leading moderately historical tours of the Gladstone Hotel. Based loosely on fact and strongly in entertainment, you never know what your docent will do.
*Docents will rotate from tour-to-tour so don’t be shy to come back for seconds.
