Andrew Lovett-Barron is a designer, creative technologist, and a principal at Relay, a design consultancy building interactive experiences for human scale. He focuses on mobile and computer vision technologies, because they let him design for both individuals and groups, privacy and public space. The question of being human in a networked world keeps him awake at night all the time.
Tomas Rojcik is a Toronto Based product designer and maker, his working process embraces both digital and traditional techniques, engaging a bridge for discovery. He aims to meet needs that people might not yet have recognized or articulated themselves; solving problems while evoking an emotional response.
Come Up To My Room (CUTMR) is the Gladstone Hotel’s annual alternative design event. CUTMR invites artists and designers to show us what goes on inside their heads. Coming together in dialogue and collaboration, participants are limited only by their imaginations, making CUTMR one of the most exciting shows in Toronto. January 24 – 27, 2013.
