What’s it all about?
Learn how to make your own Kombucha at home! In this hands-on workshop, we’ll learn all about this tasty fermented tea, brew up a batch to take home, and learn how to create exciting, seasonal flavours (like sparkling beet-apple or gingery-chai). We’ll leave lots of time for questions, discussions and tasting.
Who will be teaching?
Monica Bettson is a Community Chef at the Stop Community Food Centre, where she prepares healthy, local food for the Davenport/Perth neighbourhood and runs the Stop Café at the Wychwood Barns Farmers’ Market. An avid home canner, preserver, and gardener, she loves teaching people how to cook local food with international flavours.
