What’s it all about?
Are you looking to deepen your creative connections and feel inspired by fellow womxn artists? Join Toronto illustrator Alisha Davidson for an evening of art making and fun! Based off the Ladies Drawing Night model of NYC illustrators, Julia Rothman, Leah Goren, and Rachael Cole, this workshop will be a sure fire cure for any creative block!
In this workshop we will draw from the creative and spiritual energies of our fellow womxn artists and focus on relinquishing control over our own drawing. We will experiment with different materials, and learn to approach our drawings from a new perspective. Using our collective strengths and talents we will create powerful final pieces and empower each other’s art practices. Come spend the evening learning from your peers and getting inspired!
All levels of drawing experience are welcome! Some materials will be provided, please bring your favourite materials to use or share.
