What’s it all about?
Discover the techniques of origami, the Japanese art of paper-folding, to create your own flower and animal garden, as well as simple modular origami toys. All materials provided, suitable for all levels. Instructions to take home will be available in print or PDF format, but if you wish to make additional notes, please bring your own pads and paper.
What you need to bring?
You will be provided everything you need to leave with your own Origami garden. This will be hands-on learning and you will be provided with multiple hand-outs.
David Que is a multi-disciplinary artist specializing in origami, printing and woodburning. He completed studies at York University in 2015 in Sociology and History, and a one year post-graduate certificate in Culture and Heritage Site Management from Centennial College in 2017. He is passionate about glonal civilization, arts, and culture, with a particular interest in Indigenous history in North America. He does freelance art and design, and has been folding origami for 20 years.
