What’s It All About?
Get School’d is going green for the month of April to coincide with our annual landscape design exhibition Grow Op from April 18-22! In Sprouting for Beginners, you’ll learn how to grow your own sprouts and be your own urban farmer! Learn to harness the power of these young superfoods in your own home, controlling every step of the growing process from seed to table. Reduce your carbon footprint, shave dollars off of that grocery bill and ramp up the nutritional value of each meal for you and your family. Workshop materials will be provided for you. If you would like to take notes, please bring your own pen and notebook!
Who Will Be Teaching?
Abbey Pepall is a Toronto resident who is deeply focused on her personal health and well-being. This took a positive turn after taking a class with the founder of Toronto Sprouts and Abbey started to grow her own organic and nutritious food right in her own apartment. Finding herself completely taken by the transformative power of these little superfoods to support and heal the body, Abbey is now driven to share this positive outcome with others!
Tickets are $15 and non-refundable.
