The January class was a big success, so we’re doing it again!
Join Shedoesthecity’s Jen McNeely and Erin Rodgers at The Gladstone Hotel for a creative workshop that will make 2017 the year you penned your adventures and documented your life through a regular writing practice.
Topics covered will include how to start writing regularly, the benefits of writing, where ideas come from, how to find your voice, and the best way to pitch your stories.

Erin Rodgers is a writer, storyteller and workshop facilitator. She loves to help others to find and grow their own unique voice. Erin’s writing has appeared in outlets such as The Mary Sue, The Virago and Shedoesthecity. She has performed original sketch comedy and storytelling across Canada.
Jen McNeely is the founder and Editor-in-Chief of Shedoesthecity. She has previously worked in publicity and marketing at MuchMusic, Alliance Films and CBC Television. Since the fall of 2007, Jen has dedicated her life to creating a site for Canadian women that promotes female entrepreneurship, thought-provoking culture and shares honest stories that inspire readers to take risks and enjoy a full and adventurous life. Shedoesthecity receives approximately 2 million readers annually and has helped launch the careers of many emerging female writers in the Canadian media landscape.
