Tell Me Something Good – Jan Sexy Storytelling Slam

January 7, 2015 @ 7:30 pm - 11:00 pm

| Free
January’s Tell Me Something Good is all about welcoming 2015 with some sexy resolutions or stories of new beginnings. Do you have dirty stories about balls dropping? Did you kick off this year (any year) with a new partner or naughty tale when the clock struck midnight? Or maybe you’ve made a resolution to have better sex, or better relationships, and you want to reveal that and share with our audience. However you want to take this theme and run with it, you’re invited to do so! Party hats encouraged!
How it works for Interested Storytellers:
Slip your name into our box (HEYO!) and we’ll pick up to 10-15 storytellers for slots of up to 5 minutes each. There are points for engaging with the audience (so don’t just read the whole thing with your head down, though you ARE allowed to bring on paper) and, most importantly, it must be true!Samantha Fraser (@nympsam) and Sophie Delancey (@sophiedelancey) are your lovely co-hosts every month for your storytelling pleasure. Tell Me Something Good (@TellMeToronto) is your opportunity to share short stories of sexual glory, gaffes, and growth for the chance to win sexy prizes, or if you’d rather not share, feel free to just sit back and be entertained, while cheering on the brave souls who get up on stage.

We’ll have an esteemed panel of judges who will start the night off with a few of their own stories and then rank each entry to choose our winners at the end of the night. Our top storytellers get prizes every time.

Our January Judges:
– Nathalie from Crimsom Wave
– Burlesque dancer, Whiskey Winter
– Man about town, Ryan Hughes

Stay tuned to find out more information about our monthly charity as we also like to DO Something Good. PLUS, stay tuned for exciting news about the TMSG podcast, launching in January 2015!

*** Important note: We strive on making this a safe(r) event. We will not tolerate homophobia, racism, transphobia, ablism, agism, misogyny, whorephobia, slut shaming, fat-phobia, or any other jerky behaviour or language. Don’t yuck someone else’s yum! Please make sure that your stories are respectful so that everyone can feel included and have a good time! And in the words of Samantha’s first crush, Wil Wheaton, don’t be a dick! ***
