Granny Boots presents Short Dim Evening: Songs from Long Dark Night
Mark Shyzer and Jeff MacLean present a workshop concert of the music from Long Dark Night, a new musical premiering at the Summerworks festival this August. Long Dark Night is a film noir comedy filled with femme fatales, fedoras, foul play, word play, and more trenchcoats than you can shake a mysterious statuette at.

A collaborative art experience featuring dance performance by VM(dt), 21 local visual artists under the title Y?O?U?.? US. plus a one act play and jazz music by Chris Chekan.
Early Monthly Segments is a monthly film series at the Gladstone Hotel’s Art Bar named after an early film by Robert Beavers, and is inspired by the immediacy, vibrancy and experimentation found in that film. Programmed by Scott Berry, Chris Kennedy, and Kate MacKay this series will feature historical and contemporary avant-garde films in a salon-like setting. In this relaxed context with refreshing beverages and food available, we hope to encourage a convivial atmosphere for engaged viewing and post-screening dialogue.
