Ronley Teper and the Lipliners
The Ronley is quite a peculiar creature. Many are surprised by the name to find that this is not a big burly man named Ron. In fact, he is a she who descends from a rare tribe of sexy eclectic musical storytellers. Ronley’s music combines unique sometimes-satirical vocals and witty lyrics within a “syncretic” mish mash of musical styles.

Prodigal Sundays w/THE BACKSTABBERS
The Backstabbers Country Stringband is a Queen West institution, it’s members having purveyed their own original take on old-time acoustic country music for almost a decade on this fair street. “Prodigal Sundays” will showcase the Backstabbers doing their thing the way nobody else does it. That is, mining the best of the old school and making it new again.

Whoa, Nellie!
Whoa, Nellie! was formed in March 2005 by Vera Colley – singer, songwriter and accordionista. Her sound is an exciting blend of traditional country, country-swing, rock-a-billy and footstompin’ reels – fresh originals and a joyous revival of forgotten gems.
