The 12th annual juried art exhibition Being Scene, produced by Workman Arts for the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health, launches at the Gladstone Hotel with a grand opening reception on August 2, 5-7pm. The exhibition continues to Oct 28, 12-5pm daily.
A jury comprised of Jamie Angell, owner of Angell Gallery, Christina Zeidler, artist, filmmaker and president of the Gladstone Hotel, and Lisa Walter, Workman Arts’ artist in residence, curated the show from over 320 submissions. The result is a collection of 56 works by 37 artists representing the artistry of emerging and intermediate artists – a rich and diverse forum of expression that will impress art connoisseurs, enthusiasts and the general public alike.
