Girls 2 Girls
All proceeds from ticket sales and the auction will go to support a project that reports on and promotes the importance of football in the lives of girls in South Africa. The event will feature live music by Toronto-based female musicians The Sweet Peas, Kim Koren, Cathy Elliot, Jessy Lanza, and Kimmy Drapack and Friends. The night will also include a silent auction of works from local female artists as well as products and services from other local businesses.
It is sure to be a terrific night of art and entertainment in support of a great cause.
Girls 2 Girls is an evening to support women locally and abroad and will feature live music by local female musicians and a silent auction including the work of female artists from both Canada and South Africa. All funds raised will go to Girls and Football South Africa, a fantastic project in South Africa that empowers girls to play football. The project aims to support their development by encouraging them to take to the field and have pride in their capabilities, while at the same time gaining body ownership and increasing their self esteem.
