The Toronto and Region Remedial Action Plan (RAP) hosts an engaging roster of speakers, featuring Bob McDonald of CBCs Quirks and Quarks, to discuss the scientific, community, and capital initiatives that will shape the form and ecological function of Torontos waters in the coming years.

A monthly event that showcases community members who discuss their knowledge and expertise on various chosen topics. A moderated panel discussion is followed by an open format Q&A with the audience, creating an educational and interactive experience.

Media Bistro is a social networking group comprised of writers, photographers, filmmakers, screenwriters, publicists, public relations and other creative individuals. The Toronto chapter meets bi-monthly at various locations throughout the city. Its an opportunity to mix and mingle, share thoughts and ideas, and make new acquaintances.

As part of the Gladstone Hotels celebration of Open Doors Toronto, This Is Not A Reading Series (TINARS) is throwing open its audio and visual archives. TINARS has staged a number of widely discussed literary events at the Gladstone over the past few years. We will set up listening stations throughout the Ballroom so people can revisit, review and re-live some of them. And the entire catalogue of Winston Photos, creators and crew posing with the TINARS mascot, will be on public display for the first time ever!

Doors Open visitors will have access to public spaces on all floors of the hotel and may participate in self-guided or guided tours at 11 am, 1pm and 3pm. Gallery spaces located on all four floors will feature exhibitions for the CONTACT Photography Festival. Visitor access to the hotel’s artist-designed hotel rooms will be subject to availability.
