Eileen Rothe is a rocker with a poetic soul. Her classical training has led her to a powerful, piano-driven style that suits her soulful, edgy voice. Eileen’s EP “Dream Girl” (Hipposonic Records) was produced by Jeff Dawson (known for his work with artists such as Holly McNarland and Daniel Powter). Exposed showcases the work of 39 contemporary photographers (both established and emerging) whose work depicts personal or social history, explores or exposes memory, initiates or documents discussions or invites significant debate. In keeping with CONTACT 2008’s thematic focus, Exposed explores photography’s role in depicting and determining personal and collective memory as it relates to and defines history.
