With special guests ArtStars*

Welcome home ArtStars*!  Join host Nadja Sayej for the launch of  ”Vintage ArtStars* DVD: Volume 1: The Toronto Years, 2009-2010” offers our first 42 episodes in Canada, before relocating to Berlin. The ArtStars* DVD – the first of its kind – is a valuable educational resource of how the art world really works. From gallery-going to gala-busting, this legendary art criticism vlog led by Gonzo journalist Nadja Sayej took Toronto by storm with epic episodes featuring Bruce LaBruce, Richard Kern and Peaches. From the humble first episode to the more explosive, controversial interviews, and beyond, this is Vintage ArtStars* at its best – the true episodes that came to define the contemporary art travel show that now trots the world. This $20 DVD will publish never-seen-before footage, snap intro bloopers, re-edits, never-released before episodes and critical commentary.

Also on exhibit:

Post-Graffiti A survey of local and international fine artists whose art has evolved from working in the streets.  Featuring works by Shepard Fairey, Anthony Lister, Banksy, Retna, Dan Bergeron, Dolk and more.
