Gladstone Hotel Brings the Farm to Table Experience to Queen West

HARVEST WEDNESDAYS return to the Gladstone for a third harvest season! The series will feature a new line-up of weekly culinary events featuring local seasonal menus created by Chef Marc Breton showcasing what has been harvested by the farm the day before. Each week will feature local produce from Chick–A-Biddy Acres CSA farm, and locally produced cheeses, meats, wines and beers. The series will begin in July with a cocktail party "tasting" event, continue throughout the season with harvest "prix-fixe" menus and culminate with an end of the season Harvest Table event. 2008 Harvest Wednesday Upcoming Events Schedule: Wed Oct 1 & 15, 2008 LATE HARVEST PRIX FIXE – Enjoy a special four course dinner. Each week Chef Marc Breton will create a new menu inspired by the bountiful harvest of our CSA farming partner and featuring local fish, meats or poultry. Seasonal cocktails and suggested wine pairings from local vineyards will be priced separately. Wed Oct 8, 2008 LATE HARVEST TASTING - Check out the flavours of Ontario’s peak season harvest! A final chance to sample our chef’s seasonal canapé creations. Enjoy live music as you mix and mingle and meet the farmer and producers. Join us for dinner in our Ballroom Café or Melody Bar afterword! Wednesday night specials will feature seasonal produce! Wed Oct 22, 2008 FINAL HARVEST TABLE DINNER – Come celebrate the end of the harvest season! Enjoy a casual communal dinner with dishes inspired by peak season produce.
