While the music scene is always changing and evolving it’s hard to say goodbye to your favorite bands as they separate to pursue other musical interests. A recent announcement from Ohbijou has us longing for the old days whether it was a huge cd release at Trinity-St Paul’s United Church, or sweating with them in a tiny basement near Trinity Bellwoods park. We wish them all the best in the future and will look forward to other projects. (you can already catch Heather Kirby as part of Vag Halen, and James Bunton seems to have his hands in everything including making the music for Light Fires). Their final show happens Sept 7th down the street at the Great Hall.
Here’s the official announcement:
Ohbijou we <3 you.
