Ballroom from 11pm onwards: ANIMAL, VEGETABLE, MINERAL by Stefan Herda – A series of looped, time-lapse videos showcasing mutable forms from nature. Animal Vegetable Mineral remixes the traditional curiosity cabinet and the entertaining, wondrous aspects of amateur science through homemade crystals, organic dyes and moss documented with outdated digital technology. Stefan Herda graduated from the University of Guelph’s Studio Art program in 2010. He currently works in Toronto, creating works on paper, objects and videos with his own homemade art materials.
