A SHOW AND SALE OF TEXTILE AND FIBRE ARTS

The Gladstone Hotel is renting second floor exhibition studio spaces to individual or groups of artists interested in showing and selling textile and fibre based work during the opening weekend of Hard Twist, the hotel's third annual juried textile exhibition . We're looking for a diverse group of artists who can produce high quality multiples or short run production work specifically in fibre based mediums.

• Showcase your work in the bright, beautiful spaces and restored Victorian grandeur of the Gladstone - 12 exhibition rooms available
• The second floor show and sale will be held in conjunction with the opening of the Gladstone's annual juried exhibition on the 3 rd and 4 th floors of the hotel
• Friday Night Opening Reception will be combined for the two exhibitions Nov 7, 2008 6pm-9pm ’Äì cash bar
• •  Exhibition will be promoted in Gladstone Bag e-Newsletter, Gladstone website Event Listings as well as featured on Gladstone Hotel website Exhibition Page and Gladstone Exhibition Press Release
• Reasonable rental rates ’Äì only $150 + GST/day  Total = $472.50 /exhibition room
• Exhibition Dates ’Äì Nov 7 ’Äì Install and Opening Reception ’Äì Nov 9-10 Exhibition Hours 11am-6pm daily
• Individual secure space for each artist/s
• No sales commissions paid to hotel
• No submission fee

*Participation Fees are only paid if your work is selected to be part of the show. A 50% deposit is due with signed contract on June 30, 2008 Balance of participation fees are due Oct 1, 2008
