Teen Queen is an homage to the young girls we were, feared, wished we¹d been or wanted to date. Think purple gingham, wild horses, crimped hair, frosted lipstick, Teen Beat posters and unicorn love

ARTIST BIO

Cecilia Berkovic is a Toronto-based visual and installation artist who uses strategies of collecting and displaying to explore aspects of romance, consumer culture, leisure and identity. She also shares a collaborative practice with service-oriented artist collective, Instant Coffee.
