GIMME MORE | Designed by STEPHEN CRUISE | RESERVE THIS ROOM

ARTIST STATEMENT

Upon entry of Room 412, first view is of a resident tree with a river of leaves that encircle the walls and in so doing, display the passage of the seasons. The leaf appliqués are scanned printed leaves mounted on thin ply and adhered directly to the wall.  Attention has been placed on the perimeters of the space and to those who will be residing as a momentary guest...the handling of an offering, present throughout ones stay, acting as an envelope of presence ever after.

A wish to invest place with all facets of this environment ... of enhancing a brushed expression... of creating memories of dwelling... being part of collective dreams...
