STANDARD | Designed by LOLLI URSOMARZO + DANIEL RIITANO | RESERVE THIS ROOM

A jewel box of understated details, inspired by the grandeur of the hotel's original era.

ARTIST STATEMENT

A first collaborative effort between friends Lolli Ursomarzo and Daniel Riitano, room 418 is drawn from the Art Nouveau and Deco eras, as well as their own contemporary sense of space. Rich details combine with a refreshing palette, keeping the room both ornate and modest. The room is cradled in a handcrafted wall treatment that embellishes its pattern according to the custom-built furniture of the room - including a floor-to-ceiling backlit headboard, and a desk which discreetly houses the television and DVD player behind its cabinet doors and pull-down drawer.   Floor to ceiling silk drapes divide the space between bedroom and entranceway. The bathroom features an original marble and onyx trompe l'oeil fashioned as a period-style print ad.
