This new work is a sort of ongoing comic strip with one character in motion. Me. This is a continuous work of a series of actions in the everyday life of all us who maneuver, sometimes not so swiftly in and around these structures that many love to hate. We’re all just trying to just get from point A to point B. Once horizontal…Which way is up? This piece is meant to be a playful take on the various lifestyles of those…all of us dealing with great change…so called contemporary lifestyles.
Louise Liliefeldt is a Toronto-based performance artist and painter. Her work is concerned with the politics of identity as they intersect with gender, race and class.
