Join us on June 28 between 7-10pm for the opening reception of our 3rd annual Pride exhibition That’s So Gay. Exploring notions of queer gender identity and objectification through many diverse lenses, here’s a look at L. J. Roberts whose work is featured at That’s So Gay on the 3rd and 4th floors
L. J. Roberts holds a MFA in Fine Arts and MA in Visual and Critical Studies from California. Her studio practice primarily consists of large-scale, site-specific knitted installations created with children’s toy knitting cranks. Her installations occasionally include guerrilla actions and maintains a critical writing practice that bridges craft and queer theory.
