Kevin Day was born in Taiwan, a country that rose to economic prosperity and global prominence in the post-war era due to its dominance in the manufacturing and exporting of electronic products. Day’s works explore the materiality and body of immaterial data. He received his MFA from the University of British Columbia and is currently based in Vancouver. He has presented his works and research nationally and internationally, at locations such as the Free Word Centre (London), University of Hamburg (Hamburg), Qubit (New York), and Gallery 1313 (Toronto). His work will be included in the 25th annual auction of the Contemporary Art Gallery, Vancouver, and he is a contributing author in a forthcoming anthology on digital memories published through Interdisciplinary Press, London. He is currently the Gallery Manager at Centre A, Vancouver.
