We regret to announce that the Harvest Wednesday Dinner Series is quickly coming to an end for this season. Have you had a chance to experience the most unique dining experience in Toronto yet? Don’t wait until it’s too late! Get tickets to the next feast on Sept. 13th here.
Our last Harvest Dinner featured Chef Kristin Donovan of Hooked (pictured below) and gave us and guests at our Harvest Table a seafood experience like no other. Before that our mouths melted at just the thought of what Chef Donna Dooher of Mildred’s Temple Kitchen was preparing for us, and melt we did.
Harvest Wednesday’s are a four course feast served family style (the way it should be!). It is a celebration of community, collaboration and cooking, just a few of the Gladstone’s favourite things!
Our next meal is going to be cooked by the Chef’s behind Well Preserved and Trashed + Wasted. Joel MacCharles of the Well Preserved duo has discussed his food philosophy on a Ted Talk where he shares the way in which he began preserving foods and cooking and the profound effect it had on his life and physical health. Joel and his partner Dana also wrote the internationally acclaimed cookbook Batch: Over 200 Recipes, Tips, and Techniques for a Well Preserved Kitchen.
“In the world of preserving, Joel MacCharles and Dana Harrison are the masters, the authority. Batch packs everything you’ll ever need to know about preserving into one cohesive bible. Joel and Dana’s passion project takes a deep dive into the fundamentals of preserving and offers both simple and adventurous, and totally flavor-forward recipes.” —Chef Curtis Stone, New York Times bestselling author and chef/owner of Maude Restaurant
