And if you haven’t been to either yet, you’re in luck! On September 19 you can have the best of both worlds, as Chef Emma Herrera of Rosalinda is coming to prepare a Vegan Feast of epic proportions in the Gladstone Hotel Ballroom.

This is the stuff dreams are made of, Toronto foodies!
Here’s the breakdown:
Rosalinda is the vegan restaurant that’s taken Toronto by storm since opening last winter, and Chef Emma Herrara is the genius behind the magic. Now Toronto writes:
“[Rosalinda] is a modern Mexican spot first, a vegetarian restaurant second. Dishes like roasted eggplant with peanutty salsa macha, roasted cauliflower tostadas and jicama-citrus salad make such an impact on the plate and the taste buds, you would never notice anything’s missing.”
Harvest Wednesdays is the Gladstone’s flagship local food series. For each dinner we connect a Chef, a Winemaker/Brewer, an Artist and our favourite Farmer, Sherry from Chick-A-Biddy Acres CSA. Collaboratively they come up with a delicious meal and engaging talk that break through the typical dining narrative and touch on subjects such as inclusion, sustainability and the inspiring stories behind food. This month’s theme is delicious Vegan cooking in Toronto.

Harvest Beer Dinner featuring the
Society of Beer Drinking Ladies & Foodshare
A one-of-a-kind all-Vegan dining experience, prepared with fresh veggies harvested at Chick-a-Biddy Acres and delivered straight to the Gladstone. Chef Herrera will then use it to create this one-time-only menu, blending her culinary experience from Rosalinda with the Gladstone’s local food inspired dining program.
Here’s what you can expect from Chef Herrera on September 19:
Roasted cauliflower, truffle cream
Panelle with caponata
Raw, grilled and pickled vegetables, warm bagna cauda with preserved lemon,
chanterelle-lentil pate with quinoa crackers, roasted squash with pepita gremolata
Ontario corn polenta, lobster mushrooms, summer truffle
Heirloom tomato salad, Summer lettuces, pickled shallots
Vanilla cake, amaro caramel, whipped cream.
