Get School’d is going green! Turn your thumbs green this Spring with our special lineup of earth-friendly Get School’d Workshops in April. In honour of Grow Op, the Gladstone Hotel’s annual exhibition of urbanism landscape design and contemporary art from April 21-24, we’ll be offering eco-conscious workshops every week in April!
Healing with Herbs: April 27, $15
What’s it all about?
Health is beyond the absence of disease, it’s thriving in your life. Take part in the ecological cycle and learn the innate capacity to self-heal by using herbs. When we use herbs in our healing process, we become more attune to plants and establish a deep rapport with nature. Connect to earth. Transform your body. Come find out how to live optimally by using your backyard as a medicine cabinet. It’s cost efficient, it’s fun, it gets you into nature.
What will we be covering?
Who will be teaching?
Dee Buryk is a Certified Nutritional Practitioner, Yoga Instructor, and Founder of Growing Goddesses, a program that empowers young females through the teachings of yoga, nutrition, and goal setting. She has also volunteered on a herbal farm with other herbalists last summer. View her site here: www.deeburyk.com
