Album release party for Toronto electronic legends LAL’s new album “Dark Beings”
With a set designed by LAL, Syrus Marcus Ware and Raven Davis with projections by Jose Garcia and costumes by Ange Loft. ASL interpretation by Gaitri Persaud with support from Deaf Spectrum.
The night will feature Ziibiwan who is an electronic musician/producer with a barrier-free approach to production. Ziibiwan is Anishinaabefrom Wiikwemkoong, based in Tkaronto.
LAL is Toronto-based duo featuring Rosina Kazi and producer Nicholas “Murr” Murray. Their genre crosses the boundaries of Hip-Hop, Electronica, Afrobeat and more. They stand in solidarity with their community, uplifting LGBTQ2S+ and POC people. Their mission is to build culture where we can challenge the norm.
