The Love (Actually) Exhibition is a group photo-show showcasing the power of love & happiness in real moments during weddings.
Curated by Toronto photographer Scarlet O’Neill, the diverse images of a variety of Toronto Wedding Photographers will be accompanied by a description of what made this moment meaningful along with a list of the wedding vendors who contributed to making the couples day special. This show gives a deeper view into the wedding world and the vast emotions that make weddings memorable days in people’s lives.
This is the 2nd edition of this annual show at the Gladstone!

Too often people forget the beauty of simply being present, and that one moment alone is worth more than any final line on a wedding budget. Sometimes people get swept away in the little details and plans of the day instead of connecting with each other. Don’t get me wrong, every little detail has it’s importance on the big day; but once planned, trust in the people you’ve enlisted to be there for you, and be fully present in what is happening around you. Weddings are about the big picture. And, I believe that each photo here represents just that.
The wedding community is so vivacious and full of artistic, professional, and heartfelt individuals. There has been a lovely transition from seeing one another as colleagues instead of competitors. We refer each other to clients who are the right fit, and even curate functions that bring everyone together with the aim of bettering our community. There exists support, trust, and even friendship.
Each wedding photo is of a real moment. Each photo in the collection is laced with love and emotion. Each photo carries with it something important that will forever be remembered by the couple who said “I do”. Each photo showcases the work of a group of wedding professionals that work with heart & commitment and lay the scene to build memories upon. I hope you feel all the raw emotions from each wedding, and I hope you remember those feelings when you plan your wedding or attend the next wedding you are so lucky to be invited to. I hope that in seeing the life and story each photo represents, you take with you the idea that wedding photography is so much more than it’s given credit for. A picture is worth a thousand words, and each photo here is as real as it gets.
